Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By visiting talk1v1.com or using any part of the Service, you enter into a binding agreement with Talk1v1. These Terms apply to all users without exception. If you are accessing Talk1v1 on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use Talk1v1. By accessing the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement. We do not permit use by minors under any circumstances.

If we discover that a user is under 18, we will immediately terminate that user's access. Any data associated with underage use will be deleted. We reserve the right to report known violations to relevant authorities where required by law.

Talk1v1 is intended for personal, non-commercial use. Using the Service from jurisdictions where such platforms are prohibited by applicable law is at the user's own risk and may result in termination of access.

3. User Conduct

You agree to use Talk1v1 only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You are solely responsible for any content you broadcast, transmit, or otherwise make available during a session.

You agree to:

• Treat other users with basic dignity and respect
• Use the skip and report features when you encounter rule-violating behavior
• Ensure your camera, audio, and conduct during sessions comply with these Terms at all times
• Not use the Service in a way that interferes with others' ability to use it

4. Prohibited Activities

The following are strictly prohibited on Talk1v1. Violations may result in immediate and permanent termination of access without notice.

Sexual and Explicit Content

• Displaying nudity, partial nudity, or sexually explicit material of any kind
• Soliciting or offering sexual services
• Performing or simulating sexual acts on camera
• Any conduct involving sexually suggestive behavior directed at other users without consent

Harassment and Harmful Conduct

• Threatening, intimidating, harassing, or bullying other users
• Using slurs, hate speech, or discriminatory language targeting race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexuality, or other protected characteristics
• Repeatedly targeting a specific individual with unwanted contact
• Sharing or threatening to share private information about another person

Content Involving Minors

• Any access or use of the platform by persons under 18
• Any display, solicitation, discussion, or distribution of sexual content involving minors (CSAM)
• Violations of this kind are reported immediately to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement

Fraud and Deception

• Impersonating another person, entity, or public figure
• Using bots, scripts, automation, or non-human agents to interact with the Service
• Soliciting money, financial information, or personal data under false pretenses
• Recording sessions without the other participant's explicit consent

Illegal and Harmful Activities

• Using Talk1v1 to facilitate any activity that violates applicable local, national, or international law
• Broadcasting material that infringes intellectual property rights
• Attempting to reverse-engineer, scrape, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to Talk1v1's systems or infrastructure
• Distributing malware, spam, or harmful links through the Service

5. Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban any user who violates these Terms, at our sole discretion, without prior notice and without liability. Actions that result in immediate permanent ban include, but are not limited to:

• Broadcasting sexually explicit or nude content
• Any conduct involving minors
• Threats of violence against any person
• Coordinated harassment or targeting campaigns

We may also restrict or suspend access from specific regions if required by applicable law or to protect platform integrity.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you share during a Talk1v1 session. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to transmit that content within the Service solely for the purpose of delivering the real-time video session to the matched participant. We do not record sessions, and this license terminates when the session ends.

By using Talk1v1, you confirm that any content you broadcast does not infringe the rights of any third party and does not violate applicable law.

7. Intellectual Property

Talk1v1, its name, logo, design, and associated content are protected by intellectual property law. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any Talk1v1 intellectual property to you.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works based on the Talk1v1 platform, interface, or underlying systems without our express written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT TALK1V1 WILL BE CONTINUOUSLY AVAILABLE, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

We do not verify the identity of users or the accuracy of any information they provide during sessions. You interact with other users at your own risk. We are not responsible for the conduct of any user on the platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, INCLUDING DAMAGES FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA LOSS, OR EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to use the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $100.

Some jurisdictions do not permit the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liability, so the above limitations may not fully apply to you.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to Talk1v1 at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. You may stop using the Service at any time by simply closing the application.

Upon termination for any reason, all rights and licenses granted to you under these Terms cease immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property rights, disclaimers, and limitations of liability — will continue to apply.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users — for example, through a notice on the site or a prompt when you next use the Service.

Continued use of Talk1v1 after updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service.
